Mail In Repairs - Terms and Conditions

After submitting the mail order repairs form you will receive a confirmation email, please print this email and send with your faulty device to PhoneZone.

Please make sure your device is packaged well and sent via Royal Mail special delivery, this will cover your item with £500 insurance.

We recommend wrapping your items in bubble wrap for extra padding. We do not accept responsibility for damaged items in transit due to poor packaging.

If sending a mobile phone do not include your sim card or memory cards, if the phone is password protected please disable or send the password with the device.

FAQ

How long will it take to repair and return my item?

After receiving your item we will assess the fault and contact you with a price to repair, at this point payment will be required and we will return your item within 48 hours.

What happens if the parts are not in stock?

We make sure that we have virtually every part possible in stock, in the rare case that we haven't, we will inform you of the delay and the part will be ordered in as soon as possible.

Will I get my actual device back or will you send a replacement/refurbished device?

We will only send back your original device.

Will I lose saved data and contacts from my device?

We can not guarantee that data/contacts won't be lost, especially if repairing hard drives. In most cases your data and contacts will be fine, for example replacing cracked screens or other external parts.

Should I send accessories or instructions?

No, to avoid the lose of your accessories and instructions we suggest you do not send them. We have all the extra parts and testing equipment required.

What happens if my device get's lost on return delivery?

All packages are posted with insurance to match the value of the item, if your item is lost we will replace your item or refund you to the value of the insurance.

What if my item is unrepairable, or I decide not proceed with the repair?

We do not charge a fee if the item is unrepairable or you change your mind, however if you want the item delivered back you will have to pay for the postage.

How long do I have to pay?

You have 90 days to make the payment or we will deem the item abandoned, at this point we will dispose of the item accordingly.

What are the payment methods?

Currently we only accept PayPal, after assessing your faulty items we will send you a PayPal invoice. This will include a link to follow where you can make a secure payment via your PayPal account or with a debit/credit card.

Please note you do not need a PayPal account to pay with PayPal.
